INDIAN VIEWS

Early in 1976 nearly all Howard Hodgkin's paintings were brought together in London for an exhibition. The British Council used this opportunity to ask the artist to record a talk on his paintings and to photograph the paintings chosen. The presentation of Indian Views with the illustrated talk recorded by Hodgkin was intended to "not only be of interest but will help towards an understanding of what one artist has achieved".

A leaflet. With biographical notes and extracts from writings on Howard Hodgkin, was published by the British Council.
