IN PRINT GRABADOS INGLESAS

The exhibition presents the work of eleven renowned British contemporary artists were invited by Charles Booth-Clibborn, founder of Paragon Press, to take a break from their usual practice and experiment with the world of print making. Although they all belong to the same generation and use print making as a means of expression, the graphic language each artist uses is drastically different from that of others. In Print Grabados Ingleses Contemporáneos bring together a group of works which are not restricted by a given technique and its constraints, but rather express each artist's individual search of a way to adapt to the various possibilities offered by print making to his or her personal needs.

Artists: Jake and Dinos Chapman, Peter Doig, Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, Michael Landy, Elizabeth Magill, Sarah Morris, Paul Morrison, Marc Quinn and George Shaw.

A bi-lingual catalogue(English/Spanish), with biographical notes on the artists, was published by British Council Chile to accompany the exhibition.
