MATTHEW SMITH 1879-1959

A memorial exhibition of paintings, watercolours and pastels selected by Francis Halliday and John Russell and organised by the Royal Academy of Arts. This was the first exhibition devoted to a British artist who was not an Academician. A catalogue, with an introduction by the selector and catalogue notes by Richard Smart, was published to accompany the show. No ISBN
