2002 “After the birth of our second son, we were looking for a way of working creatively together on a new project that we could develop in the evenings when the kids were in bed. T-towels were attractive for their ubiquitous and useful role in the kitchen and as a vehicle for contemporary imagery, using bold and colourful silk-screened graphics of everyday things. Our first series featured objects connected with washing up such as detergent bottles, the sink, u-bend and drainer. This has extended to books, vases, crockery collections and to everyday patterns around the house like lace curtains or wallpaper.”
