Christopher Bramham (1952 − )

Christopher Bramham was born in Bradford, Yorkshire in 1952 and attended Bradford College of Art and Kingston School of Art.

In 1982 he met Lucian Freud and had the opportunity to show with Agnew. He tried several times to be admitted to the Royal Academy but was always rejected.

His shows included the Fine Art Society in 1988 and a series of successful exhibitions with Marlborough Fine Art. He was inspired by the works of Freud, Bacon, Auerbach, Giacometti, Picasso and Matisse.
