Phillip Allen (1967 − )

Phillip Allen was born in 1967 in London and studied at Kingston University and from 1990 to 1992 at the Royal College of Art. He currently lives and works in London.
He paints colourful abstract paintings where he combines geometrical and imaginary shapes with thick layers of encrusted paint, mainly along the edges of the canvases. He exhibited his works extensively in Europe and New York and some of his works were part of an auction at Bonhams in 2004.
