Adrian Wiszniewski (1958 − )

Adrian Wiszniewski was born in Glasgow of Polish extraction. He studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow before studying at Glasgow School of Art. The works in the collection are typical of his works of the mid-1980s. Often extemporized, they portray languid young men inhabiting a world of their own dreams. His imagery is personal and often obscure, as ideas and images connected freely in a multi-layer and often dreamlike way.
